A wonderful beginning, Catherine! Your posts are substantive, and worthy of more than the quick review I just did. It will be very fun to see what evolves with the bevy of swans who participate!
I had to make the font bigger in order to read it on my computer, so would like to see it in a larger font for my aging eyes!
I'm thinking about your wonderful invitation, Catherine, and contemplating the beautiful illustration above, and thinking about the Ugly Duckling. I'm struck by the thread that is woven through all 3 things: community. The ugly duckling cannot grow into her acknowledgment and acceptance of herself as swan without another swan(s).

You're taking this idea and going with it, so wonderful, thank you. Love the community of swans idea. I have enjoyed reading your posts and did accept the invitation to be an author. However life is so busy trying to prepare for my journey that I'm not sure how much I will be able to contribute until I return in September. I will stayed tuned though as much as I can and perhaps have time to contribute a post before I go.
